This product was a Godsend

I originally bought this product through a different company who quit carrying it. I had been suffering from what the doctors were saying was contact dermatitis around my eyes. I'd been to the allergist, the dermatologist, 3 different opthamologists looked at me. I was given drops, steroids, anitbiotics, nothing worked for long, I had flaking, raw redness, constant watering eyes and no one could help. Just kept saying eliminate products and try the Free and Clear or Vani Cream shampoos, conditioners and creams. I cut out make up, and other cosmetics, which I didn't use much of anyways, and dropped shampoos/conditioners Id used for years, I was already using sensitive Dove Soap, so I didn't have to change it. I quit doing dishes and some cleaning, even stopped cleaning the cat litter to see if it was the dust. NOPE! Nothing changed. Even on the Free and Clear products. It was while looking for a good online deal for the Free & Clear/VaniCream products that I came across Proteque. I was told I couldn't be on steroid creams and drops for too long, cause too much can kill you, so I was looking for alternatives and it was like an answer to my prayers when I found this product. I didn't order right away, I mulled it over and the Pros outweighed any cons, especially since it is pricey. After receiving Proteque I used it right away, several times a day in conjunction with the Vanicream, since it tells you product can dry face. I also kept using the Free n Clear shampoo/conditioner just to be safe, even tho I noticed ZERO relief or change in my condition by not using my regular salon brand. Within 2-3 weeks the patches, redness, pain and runny eyes was gone!!! I love this product because it can be used around the sensitive eye area. I continue to use it daily, or when I even feel a twinge that something might be going on. The dermatitis has not returned. Occasionally I get a tiny dry patch by my eyebrow, but that is better than the zombie eyes I had in the beginning. I just use the product a little more often on any 'suspicious' areas! The dermatologist had speculated it could be some fungus going on but never test for it, neither did the allergist, they all said it was something I was in contact with, but no one could narrow it down, even after allergy testing. My MD says its a barrier cream, yeah soooo, it WORKS! I use it after washing my face and shower, if it keeps the 'gym germs' off my face, the litter dust, etc. the wonderful. Anything to keep from putting up what I had been. It takes only a tiny bit so the product lasts as long as it says, around 4 mos. If you have larger areas you have to deal with it will probably last less, but its worth it. I don't believe I have a continuing problem as was eluded to, I think I came into contact with something, fungal, allergic, not sure and it just went crazy, I dealt with it for almost a year. Now its just gone, but I am being diligent and watching that I take care to use proper handwashing when I come in contact with 'dirt'. I am not saying it will 'cure' everyone, but using this product is worth a try to help make the conditions listed on the bottle better. I've used it on acne, diaper rashes, minor scratches, my heel cracks, and they always improve. For me Proteque did exactly what is said it would and I am so grateful. It does containe triclosan which is the ingredient in antibacterial hand soap everyone is complaining about, but you use such a small amount I think it is a non issue. It's non steroidal so you don't have those issues to worry about and it contains organic ingredients too like Aloe. I whole heartedly recommend you try this product if you have eczema or dermatitis conditions. If it doesn't make them go away since its not a cure and some conditions will never go completely away I believe it will at least bring relief, a break in a vicious cycle. Definitely worth every penny for me!
